Meet Teresa Wolfe

Meet Teresa Wolfe

Welcome!

I am a Food Scientist,

Microbiologist, Eco-Herbalist, and a global environmental health

advocate.  I am the founder and

owner of Welcome Harvest LLC, a

company dedicated to providing

quality herbal products. My original

line of herbal products, formulated

in the 1990’s, is geared toward

restoring balance to the body facilitating its ability to access and manifest renewed energy and hear

its own inner wisdom.

How can I help you?

I practice “Eco-Herbalism”, which focuses on the restoration of balance to humanity and the planet. I believe that your health and the health of the environment are integrally intertwined. Hence, my tag-line:

A healthy YOU = a healthy planet.

This intent is interwoven into all my products as well as my classes, workshops and consultations.

My qualifications:

I was a faculty member of the University of Minnesota in the mid- 1980’s and have worked as both a microbiologist and chemist for a Fortune 500 food company. As a faculty instructor at a community college in 2005, I co-authored their new Food Science curriculum.

I have decades of experience teaching classes, workshops and seminars in the fields of science, nutrition, health & wellness and environmental education. I have taught every age level – pre-school, elementary, high school, college, and adult ed.  My 35+ years of experience in the areas of nutrition, herbal medicines, and biological and environmental science have culminated in a visceral desire to raise awareness regarding the critical importance of the inter-relationship between individual health and environmental health.

In the fall of 2015, I was inspired to launch a virtual online global healing event on Earth Day (every April 22nd), called “Project 1”. This past April was my 8th event.

I have also written a book that is a companion to the event (still being refined). The working title is: “Handbook for a Healthy Planet”.

In 2020, I published a children’s book: “What Makes Me Happy, Healthy, and Alive?” It is intended to introduce toddlers to the idea of what they need to thrive, and nudges caregivers to look beyond the usual answers of food, water, fresh air, and exercise.

I would sum myself up in this way: “A teacher whose passion is the promotion of goodwill and individual and environmental health – on a global scale.”
